Objectives:  1. Recognize and discuss the signs and symptoms of Alpha Gal Syndrome in their clinical practice 2. Understand how Alpha Gal Syndrome may differ from other food allergy presentations. 3. Be familiar with the diagnostic tools and tests available to evaluate and confirm Alpha Gal Syndrome. 4. Understand the connection between the lone star tick and the development of Alpha Gal Syndrome. 5. Be familiar with the treatment options available for Alpha Gal Syndrome. Also, be able to discuss the importance of prescribing epinephrine devices to their food allergy patients. 6. Be aware of the potential long term implications of this increasingly common food allergy syndrome.
