Objectives:  1.  Examine a patient profile that may be appropriate for Tymlos  2.  Recognize that in women with postmenopausal osteoporosis a fragility fracture may be a sign of more fractures to come.  3.  Understand that since many fragility fractures occur in postmenopausal women with moderate bone mineral density, other factors that contribute to bone fragility, such as deteriorated bone microarchitecture, may be an underlying cause of osteoporosis and fracture.  4.  Understand the effects of Tymlos on vertebral and nonvertebral fracture risk reduction at 18 months, 5.  Learn about the extension study that followed patients who transitioned to open-label alendronate for an additional 24 months.
