Do you have patients currently without insurance and pre-existing conditions?

New health coverage is available through a new Pre-existing Condition Insurance Plan (PCIP) created by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The PCIP is a separate from the Kentucky Access program. Those who have been without  coverage for at least six months and who have been denied coverage because of pre-existing health conditions are eligible.   For more information visit:

This site provides information about the complete range of health coverage options available for consumers by state and an application is available for download for the new PCIP coverage.  This website also provides information for small businesses and consumers about private insurance, Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program, Medicare, and other coverage options inone place.

There are two ways you can be active in your search for a new job.

First visit the Career Center page (you'll need to sign in) and subscribe so that new postings will be delivered to your email.

Second, click Manage Profile (lower right on all pages) then scroll to the next to last section "Networking & Careers", then click Resume/CV. Complete the form and upload your resume. Now, your information can be searched by employers and recruiters.

I Can't Figure This Thing Out!

The next time you’re stumped and feeling technologically challenged by the internet, spend a few minutes looking through the helpful information on our How Do I…? page. You’ll find step by step instructions for finding a preceptor, updating your profile, and sending a message to everyone in your region, viewing your membership expiration date, and renewing.

Where was that...?

What about those times when you're looking for something - it may have been on the listserv, or a news item. Try the "site search" feature. This is none other than a Google search of everything on our website sorted by relevance. This is the easiest way to find the White Paper or ARNP Guide to Prescribing controlled substances. Find the site search on any of our pages.
