U of L Brandeis School of Law Discounts Certificate in Health Law for KCNPNM Members through Year-end

The University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law has created an opportunity for non-lawyer professionals to enhance their knowledge of the legal, regulatory and ethical issues related to the delivery of health care through its new Certificate in Health Law.

Health law is a broad and diverse field of law, encompassing policy and regulations, health care/insurance coverage, health care providers, access to care, ethical choices and more. It also involves practice from other areas of the law, such as contract law, administrative, employment and tax.

Given the complex regulatory and ethical issues, growth of health care insurance giants and increased complexities that have come about under the Affordable Care Act, the legal aspects of health care have risen to the forefront. This program provides the practical skills necessary to communicate effectively about the law and to follow all regulations related to health care.
